Hi. I have TVSS Mk1 unit (metal case, part number 08190-00810, model number MW-8260). My 1992 car with this unit has been imported from central Europe around 20 years ago.
Problem that I have is that my unit came with broken key fob/remote. Black, rectangular shape with one white button, no FCC code on back of the remote. Original number would probably be 08191-00811 and that is discontinued and not in stock anymore.
It's almost unrepairable, button and it's electronic base are broken and case is cracked. It would need new electronic button soldered and completely new case.
Does anyone know what is frequency of original remote and is there any aftermarket ones available in reasonable price and size? Links would be very appreciated!
Or even what could be part number for new OEM one that would work with TVSS mk1?
I myself live in Finland and came across this forum by Google searching for information on TVSS - Which looks to be very little information avaible online.
