tuned-up and still not right!

I did all the recomeded tune up stuff- from caps and rotors,fluids all around- timing,valves etc- checked all hoses replaced some- now after the valves and timing it has been getting worse gas miliage and seems to occasionally just flat out starve- when i put the peddel down it dies out? Happened today towards the end of a tank of fuel and again tonight with a full tank- new fuel filter and all??? any ideas????

How did the valve adjustment go? What does the fuel filter look like? You have a vacuum guage? Hook it up to the intake manifold and see what the vacuum does as you increase the gas.

If it noticably change after adjusting the valves and timing..Maybe something was not done right. Go back and recheck both.
