Man these things fit like skin over muscle, I had to take a few breaks wrestling the material over the front seats.

I'm going to call SOR, but I thought I'd post the pictures up anyways too..

1. The front seats I need to play with somehow the velco is a PITA to get back all the way and to get the front seats to fit good..
I wanted suggestions on how to adjust the piece over the front but I'll keep on playing with it..

2. The rear back, what the heck do you do on the bottom? I have no clue what to do with the elastic piece on the bottom.???? looks like your suppose to remove those two bolts to the seat and wrap it around, but that doesnt sound right, where the heck does it hook around?

3. My roomate doesnt think the colors go, I think they are fine, dunno why else they would make a tan set unless to go with the brown interior for those who want a lighter color, any opinions on the colors?

I have the front seat set for my 60...same color interior as yours, but I purchased the dark brown...they look slick.

For an easier time fitting, you are suppost to put them in the sun for a few hours, or run them for a few minutes in the dryer.

BTW...I know they say they are "pit bull" tested, but if you have a german shepard...dont believe them! My dog chewed right through the head rest cover!!!

Cheers,
JR

Thanks for the very thorough photo montage. I now have an interest in these where I didn't before.

i've got the desert camo in mine...love them. the velcro gets easier with age. are you talking about the back section that you don't know what to do with. i just let the bottom hang.

Glad they worked out for you Brett (and glad they got there today)-they look good in your cruisier too! They are supposed to be a bit tight; for the front seats, I found that I could get the strap between the seat and the plastic lever cover, which somewhat helped.

Then I became a brainchild and swapped the seat bottoms-then the straps were located on the inside of both seats which eliminated the problem entirely :)

Try that (just confirmed with the other set on my cruiser too) and you should be all set.

why didn't youget brown? tan is to match the tan in a fj60, however I kinda like the tan, works well with the headlinner and exterior color(same as mine) I have a full set in the 60.........forget what I did with the bottom. Word or warning..............DON"T toss a oil skin(Filson) jacket on the seat for long.......I have a stain now :(

He didn't get the brown because he bought them from me Landpimp :flipoff2: almost new at a great price I'll add too.

Based on his pictures and the color of his interior, they look better in his 62 than they did in my 60 too (more yellow and less tan in my interior than his).

I keep looking at the pics and I am REALLY liking the tan.....

JR, what did you do about the heater when you put the Tuffy in? loose it or ? Connie wants a Tuffy......and really don't need the heater......but thats my excuse not to buy her one ;)

I really like how the tan matches well with the exterior. It also gives compliments to the interior. However, stains will show more on the tan thant the dark brown. I like that look. I would keep it.

O.K. I sound like queer eye for the straight guy!!! Damn
