I realize this may be a bit off topic for this forum, but I know many of you are shooters. I am looking for a gun dealership in the Tucson area for purchase of a couple of Sig Saur or Taurus pistols. In addition, my wife wants to take the permit course.
Suggestions? Thanks, Terry

I was recently out and about Tucson looking to replace a revolver that had been stolen. I found that Murphy's was the most friendly, and had the Ruger that I was looking for in stock and was the lowest priced of the Tucson stores. Their lot was filled with vehicles compared to other stores that I visited. I did not enjoy going to Diamondback Supply. The sales person was very disinterested in the type of gun that I was looking for and essentially dismissed my inquiries. On line reviews of that store seem to suggest that my experience was not unusual. If the guy would have just said that "cowboy" guns really are not our niche, I would have understood. He was really arrogant about the deal. Would not even quote me a price to order one in.

I have had good luck at Sportsman's warehouse in Mesa. I bought a Sig P220 and a Beretta AL391 in the last 3 years and had good service and good pricing.

I had already had done my research, and was not looking for their assistance or expertise, but was pleasantly surprised both times in that the salesman knew what he was talking about and was friendly.

You might consider trying the one in Tucson.

Good luck

Hey Don, not yet. We are leaving Crested Butte soon. I led a group of Jeeps over Pearl Pass last week and the leaves were beautiful! We stayed in Aspen for the night then returned to CB the next day. Wish you and Rose could have come along.
I will give you a call if I come up to Mesa. Terry
