Tucson get together?

I have been pretty much away from this forum for a couple months, but still want to get something going down here in Tucson. I will try to come up with a good time over the next few days and see what happens.

What goes on at these get togethers?

Not much really. At the Tempe Cruise night, we mostly hang out and BS about the next run or the next mod. It's mostly a way for us to get together and be in good company for a couple of hours. That, and it's a great chance for us to get together and make fun of LandCruiserPhil.

Sounds like some Southern AZ'nans want another Tucson Run? Well, let's do it then? Let's make it an informal run (no Club postings, mass emails, etc.) for those on this site (and our buddy's we each invite)? How about that?

How about a run up into the Santa Rita's? We could pop up the West side from the town of Sahuarita (close enough to Arivaca Desertt55?) up to Lopez Pass (over 5000-ft) then do the Sycamore Canyon Loop back to Sahuarita. This trail is rated a 3.0, offers several interesting challenges (3 quite tricky), and killer scenery. Sycamore Canyon is awesome. Here's a few teaser shots from this run (That's Cruiser99's killer 100 in the pics).

I'd say Saturday Dec 18th at 9:30 in Sahuarita?

Sorry I missed this thread, again. Work has had me so tied up over the last 2 months that I have had very little time to read any forums or email.

I am glad to see that there is some interest in this, and I would love to particpate in some runs in the very near future. (I currently have the front torn off of the 40)

I also hope that things are going to mellow out a lot work-wise and I will be able to get something going for a get together.
