I'm interested in doing whatever I can to lighten up the front end of my FJ to prevent suspension sag. Does anyone know how much weight I could cut by running a synthetic winch cable. I have a Warn 9.5ti with 125' of 3/16" cable. Also, do you have to remove the winch to switch the cable? Or can it be done while on the vehicle?

oops, I ment to say 5/16". The synthetic is 20lbs lighter. But they reccomend replacing synthetic lines every two years due to UV damage. That is a lot of money! I'm sure you don't have to replace so often, but thats what they suggest at warn.

You could also consider relocating the battery.

I switched to light beer & no heavy carbs. That did the trick.

Lol, I just lost 40lbs so there isn't much more weight that can come off my ass! Well, It turns out that I don't have as much of a sagging problem after all. I just got my truck back today and they put on the OME lift and the Fabfours bumper and winch. I also just bolted on the Budbuilt front skit plate. The front end only came down about a Half inch with everything on. The OME 886 coils work very well with this front end setup. Its not quite level, but it looks good to me!
