Truck Lite (Rigid Industries) 7” headlights on HZJ73

Hey folks -

I’ve seen a number of people who have installed the Truck Lite headlights, and said they were “plug and play.” I installed them this weekend, and while they’re working, the tapered male tabs seem to be about 2mm taller than the female receptacle on the factory harness, and won’t go all the way in so they’re flush. If you experienced this, how’d you address it? Photo attached to show you what I’m talking about.

beat me to it.

often if there is not prescribed torq spec, grab a bigger hammer. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyways.

Ha, I spoke with Truck Lite, and they said it’s fine to file the tabs down a bit. I’ll start there.
