Hey y'all. I have noticed a triple clunk noise that occurs when turning at slow speeds, such as turning right into drive ways. It is three clunks in quick succession then a half second gap then three more. Nothing in wheel arches and no tire rub. Any ideas as to the cause? It also feels as if the car moves sideways a little bit. Car runs fine otherwise so I am not thinking it is diff related.

Not to sound insulting (cuz I've had it happen before) - check the lug nuts on the front wheels first for tightness. Could also be loose shock nut (top more likely than bottom bolt, but I just lost a bottom shock nut . Check easy and cheap that fit the symptoms first...

Sway bar end links also known to snap in the front, which can then clunk on turns. Very obvious when looking at the lower control arm behind the tire.

I'll check out the sway bars and tightness though I did a month ago and they seemed alright. Yeah napa's. I wasn't in a position to get OEMs as I couldn't convince my mechanic uncle of their unpopularity on here. I did a 3,000mi road trip over December without fault. If the cv was bad wouldn't a problem have come about?
