Just wanted to provide a link and some photos to our season ender (before some of our trails formally close for the winter and reopen for the snowmobile clubs). Our group here in ontario is SONTT - southern ontario toyota trucks. we had a showing of 20 trucks, varying from fully lifted and modded short wheel based trucks on 37's, to one bj40, a couple tacoma's, a whole bunch of fj cruisers, an 80 series and my 100 series. the trail we chose was 3 hours north of toronto in bobcaygeon. the area is heavily forested on typical Canadian Shield. this means lots of rock, lots of water (as rock doesn't drain well, but with fairly firm bottoms). this trail was about 4 miles long and took us to a remote lake where we all had a bbq and group lunch. there were only two recoveries; my 100 series had to extract two vehicles - the bj40 that submerged into a hole up to its headlights and high centered. the other being a 4runner that high centered on a rock outcropping. http://www.sontt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2868
