Trip back home

Hey all,

Planning a trip back home the week before X-mas and some after. Been 9 years since I have been back that way. Grew up my whole life in the Newport area. Just trying to decide if I should take the 62. Anything going on during that time other than X-mas...I will have my family with.

BTW good to see some home town action. Couple of Vanity shots.

Nothing really going on. I think we are all trying to get together, but our schedules don't seem to align. If you like beer, we could meet up at one of the local breweries...

I am in. It has been forever so I am sure I won't know Spokane. Is Dick's still open?

Well the trip is on and I will be driving the cruiser!! Just need to do some TLC before we head out on the 19th. Hope to see some cruiser heads while I am up there. I will be staying at Marshall Lake outside of Newport. Aunt and Uncle's Place. But my kids want to see the RFP and ride the carousel. Not sure what new stuff is up there but I am sure they will want to go shopping!

Also anyone know a good place to rent a snowmobile for an hour? My kids have never played in the snow or done those fun things like I did.

The gondola is new, and you know shoping is world renowned here in Spokane! I'd take them shoping at Owens grocery in Newport for a good sandwich.

I don't know about the snowmobiles....

Thanks a ton, I remember Bob Owens when he uedt allow chrge accounts for the store. Funy how it is stil there. Even remember seeing Seeber's dug store with a couple cars run into it. Do they still meet atDick's on Friday and Sat. night? Obviously you spent ome time in Newport.
