Tribute to the OEM Panasonic Battery

Years ago I had Several Audi's with VARTA brand batteries that lasted nearly a decade. The Germans (AG/Volkswagen Group) used VARTA and Panasonic/Sanyo for several years, but has since moved to only VARTA for limited applications for combustion engine starter battery's.

Does anyone have a link on where to purchase a genuine Panasonic battery from Toyota of Japan? I understand the costs.

Panasonic is my 2nd favorite battery but, Varta is my first. It is not uncommon for our Construction Cranes to get over 10 years out the Vartas. I wished we could get either the Varta or Panasonic batteries here in the USA.

It is my understanding the majority of batteries sold in North America come from the same build house Johnson Controls. They build them to whoever specifications and then ship them out with their labels.

Old thread but worth adding to:
My OEM Panasonic was not dead, but showing a lower than I liked standby voltage a couple years ago (mid 2018), so I purchased a Bosch AGM. Today, went out to start the truck and the 2 year old Bosch AGM has died, shorted cells, all because I left an interior light on yesterday. Well, I had not yet recycled my Panasonic, but had kept it topped off on a maintenance charger, so I grabbed it, through it in the truck and it started right up.
Panasonic rocks.
