Triad Piedmont Meeting - The Loop Kernersville Weds 6:30PM

New to the group and forum here. Just curious to see if there Is a Triad Piedmont Chapter or Monthly Meeting? Raleigh/Charlotte is hike for our miles per smile rigs.

I know it was a thing in the past. I'm not sure if it was lack of interest or the organizers had too much on their plate. It's probably just a matter of someone taking the reigns and organizing it. Consistency is key. Same day, same location monthly. Raleigh is always the 1st Wed of every month and has been going on for years. Sometimes we have 5 people show up, sometimes 20.

@jamesurq could probably give some insight and a rough headcount of members in that area and why the meetings stopped

It was a very regular thing in the past. There was a loss of venue and then a discord over kids at locations with alcohol or without tater tots but I believe we can mostly all agree on it not being as much about the location or menu as the folks it brought together.

Kernersville is likely the most central location. I’d be game for suggestions and keeping an eye out for new options. Captures winston/HP/gso/rock co folks. Needs good parking and Room for group of 15-20

Although blue rock was pretty good for food and beverage and has a private room. Parking is soso but could probably take over the cleaner world lot.

I would be open to anything. There is J Butler's in Kernersville with that large parking lot with Target and Petco. Or even The Loop across the way.

I’ve got a few feelers out for locations.

Also just stopped at blue rock’s Jamestown location I was unaware of. Had a party table instead of separate room and much better parking. Waiting on a call from the manager to discuss.

Yep, that is probably me. I pick the kids everyday off of Market St at Colfax.

I would really like to get together and meet new folks that have the same passion for our Land Cruisers. It would also be nice to meet folks that possibly like go camping in the Fall/Winter/Spring.

Mondays are generally out for me, but everything else is usually fairly open. I'm in High Point.

How about Weds, or Fri 7pm? The Loop in Kernersville? Plenty of parking in the Target parking lot.

I spoke with Michelle at the loop today and inquired and they are game. They have an option to put tables together to seat twelve or close off a section and it would be 2 tables and a booth but also 12. Maybe 15.

I told them probably meet at 6 walk in by 6:30 or meet at 6:30 and walk in at 7. They just ask for a Monday reminder for the manager to plan or at very latest Wednesday am.

If it became regular then they said they could plan for it.

What do folks schedule allow? Personally mine is unpredictable and likely the later option would be best esp if I were to bring a cruiser. I’m sure I may end up there in the work truck but it’s a Toyota at least

Thoughts?
Want to try for the 14th? 21st?
And maybe trend of second Wednesday?
We can adjust as we get more feedback.
