Greetings folks! In celebration of the launch of our new Jeep JKU systems and re-designed Land Cruiser systems, we are running a sale through the end of October. All systems are 20% off. If you visit our website you’ll see that the systems are now offered as a complete unit, which means that all of the previous “add-on” items are also included in the 20% discount. This is a great opportunity if you were thinking about one of our systems. I know it sounds like a cheesy sales pitch, but it’s true- our prices will probably never be this low again. In an effort to streamline this thread, please pm, call or email us with any questions unless you feel it would benefit everyone.

Here’s a quick synopsis:

LC100 Alpha System - MSRP $4695 -20% = $3756

includes everything - base system with locking large and shallow drawers, integrated fridge slide, cutting board/ work surface, wing kit with wing faces, cargo barrier, center divider, fridge barrier, shelf, and custom Line-X color

JKU Alpha System - MSRP $4595 -20% = $3676

includes everything - base system with locking large and shallow drawers, integrated fridge slide, cutting board/ work surface, wing kit with wing faces, full upper storage rack, center divider, fridge barrier, and custom Line-X color

JKU Bravo System - MSRP $3495 -20% = $2796

includes everything - base system with locking large drawer with divider, cutting board/ work surface, wing kit with wing faces, full upper storage rack, and custom Line-X color

Please check out our website at www.trekboxx.com

Regards,

David

I love your products, now if only I had the cash!

David, just visited the updated website...very nice! Glad you have gotten the JKU systems to market!

Anything you want to share about the redesign on the 100 series drawer system?

Still haven't installed the system I bought...got so many irons in the fire right now it is ridiculous.

Thanks again for bringing a premiere drawer system to market!

Ha! It doesn't do you much good on the garage floor! :)

The systems were redesigned for a number of reasons. The first motivation was the development of the Jeep systems. The JK's are fairly dainty vehicles (sorry Jeep guys) with a relatively small payload- stock, anyways. I knew that Jeep owners were counting ounces and therefore had to make the systems lighter without sacrificing strength. The biggest hurdle was the construction method. The old systems were RTA- ready to assemble. They used heavy duty knock down hardware. It was a very strong method of construction and saved some costs by having the customer assemble the system. It also made it very easy to remove a panel if you wanted to add accessories for example. But, these fasteners required a minimum material thickness of about 3/4". There are areas of the system where 5/8" or even 1/2" is strong enough, but wouldn't work with those fasteners. So, the redesign means that we have to fully build and assemble the systems prior to coating, just like any piece of furniture. The labor costs went up quite a bit, but there were many benefits to this method, many intended and some were a pleasant surprise.

Pros:
- Lighter- thinner materials in key areas, less hardware, many areas have been skeletonized
- We maintain total control of the build. We've had a few, not many, customers who've managed to mess up the assembly. Now we can assure everything is just right before shipping.
- Install and removal, if necessary, is much easier.
- More volume gained in the drawers partly due to thinner material, but mainly due to a redesigned center section and integrated steel fridge slide. The shallow drawer is almost 4" wider, and therefore the work surface is also larger.
- Built in slots for fridge tie down straps
- Shallow drawer was deepened to 3.75" to accommodate Partner Steel stoves, a common request.
- No exposed hardware to corrode or give opportunity to access the locked drawer
- We've removed the Vector-T handles. While they are very nice, they do take up interior drawer volume and they're no longer needed with the locking slide and pull handle design.
- Cleaner, less industrial look with no exposed hardware and overlay drawer faces
- Blacked out drawer slide latches
- Custom Line-X colors offerred. Most if not all LC's have either tan or gray interiors, but we found the Jeeps look better with a Line-X color that matches the exterior paint.

That's most of it, off the top of my head.

Cheers,
David

For any new guys that haven't seen Trexboxx in person, these are outstanding units. If you need a one stop solution for the type of travel you do, consider this product. Very well thought out and it sounds like he's made some nice improvements, as well. Great Job with these and best of luck moving into the JKU space. Space is definitely a premium in that platform.

Much appreciated! It's great to hear positive feedback after all the long nights that went into these systems.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the orders so far! I've gotten a few requests for an Alpha System with 2 drawers on the right side. I will be making a second drawer that will mount on top of the existing system without any major modifications, but it won't be in time for the sale. So if this may be a system you'd be interested in, I'd suggest getting your Alpha now and then adding the drawer afterwards. Here's a very quick mock up of what that would look like:
Trekboxx System Alpha MASTER V2 Xtra Drawer 2.webp

The height of the drawer is debatable, but you get the idea!

Would the drawer be able to be added to the version 1 Alpha system?
Yes, absolutely! It will be just slightly different in size, but just let me know when you order it. At this point I also see no reason why you couldn't specify how high you would like it. More to come!

Hey guys,
I'm a bit hesitant to put this out there for fear of too many unusual requests, but I've gotten a number of inquiries, so here goes... Since the redesign I've taken back total control of building these systems. Version 1 was CNC machined and then came back to me for QC, etc. But with the new design I felt it was better for me to make them in house. And I could do it more easily because there are so many less holes that need to be bored in the components. Having said that, it allows me to offer a bit of customization where before it was too cost prohibitive to change the CAD/CAM files, G code, etc. And it allows me to make some sawdust, which is really what i like to do. So for those of you that may want some customization, it is available- to a point. Actually, anything is possible, I just don't want to put people off with the high prices (yes, higher than they are!) that would go along with a fully custom system. I'd LOVE to just do custom work, but it would be ridiculously expensive, so i shy away from it. So for those of you that may want a certain drawer divider, a certain tie down system, whatever, just let me know.

Really pumped to get my system with 3(!) drawers on the right side.

I'll post a review here once installed but I have been in love with the Trekboxx since I saw one at 100s in the hills 2 years ago. Serious quality.

Thanks! The sale systems are going in to Line X Monday. The extra drawers will come shortly after.

I haven't put a new system on a scale, but I'd ballpark it at 180 lbs or so.
