Hi everyone... it is my first time to own a 4x4 BJ40 and i used to spray those expensive metallic paint and i am so so surprise i can do the same result with Tremclad paint on a Bj40, the result is so good.
I only spend 70 CAD on 1 gallon of grey primer and 1 gallon of flat black. I sprayed the primer (without thinning) on the body directly and it covers up all the imperfections.
The only draw back is it takes overnight to dry completely, (tack free). I am so excited to spray on the matt back to finished it off.
I am wondering how well it can last without respraying? I am planning to spray 3 coats of black to finish it off. Becasue the paint is not harden.
Cheers
