Who needs a roof, I sold the hardtop long ago. I have a Summertop bikini and another bikini from OCD. Though neither are in my hands. Dbenke has the one from OCD and OCD has the Summer top. Another story I'll have to tell you about.

I will eventually get an OEM softop or an old Kayline top.

Nice start? I had a nice start 4 years ago. This is the finale buster.

shoot me an email with year and price you are looking for....I got a whole list of good ones...even got a high mileage, one owner, dealer maintained the entire time, garage kept, non smoking 1999 model in RiverRock Green color with no body or interior issues....for $8000

BBQ boy It is always gloom with you. 100 series are pretty cheap right now the economy has effected them.

it is? I consider myself to be a very smart and successful businessman. You don't become that way by not being frugal and watching every dollar. You'll learn one day.
When you have 2 businesses with 65 employees, a wife and 3 kids then you will appreciate the value of every dollar spent. Especially in his economy. Anyone who doesn't see any gloom in that is a fool.
A lot of people's lives depend on me.
So when an average 100 comes along I'm not exactly jumping out of my seat to make an irrational decision.
Grow up Peter Pan.

I still think it is going to get worse before it gets better.

The stock market will drop big again, there are a TON of houses that haven't even been foreclosed on yet because the banks are flooded and can't keep up. You would be surprised at how many people are going on over 12 months without a payment and still have not been foreclosed on.

I say buy silver, and keep your cash close by. Do everything you can to make your employer see you are viable, and enjoy time at home with the family.

None of that isn't doom/gloom, just good ole American common sense.

Correct. Thank you.
Banks are not even touching businesses. I have a $100 note that the bank called me about 2 months ago. They said we are calling the note and we are giving you 6 months to pay in full!!! WTF!!!!
Banks are saying sorry we can't help even though we have a lot in collateral. Freaking ridiculous.

I'm thinking of selling my 40 to help fund a 100 so I can keep as much of my cash as possible.

I have a note on some commercial property in MB and I have paid the bank on time over $50k in interest over the years. I have an opportunity to sell it for $13k less than the payoff. I called the bank to see if they were interested in reducing there profit on the note, no dice. They said the FDIC is watching banks like a hawk. He said they can hardly move without worry of being taken over and sold to another bank.

Socialism here we come!

And all this started because of retreads. I am going to get them. I will let y'all know how it turns out.

BBQ boy tell me about your last irrational decession. I don't think buy a 100 series and getting rid of your 40 would be one.

I ordered them just now. Cheaper shipping from sd than ga with tire rack. I went for the crawler 31x10.5x15 I told them I wanted 3 ply side walls Goodyear or bfg and they said no problem. I also found they changed their name because of trade mark issues. I will probably have them in 2 weeks.

Hope you get Goodyear instead of BFG sidewalls. Hopefully I can run with you up to URE in August and help put'em through there paces.

That would be nice. I am looking forward to meeting the man that is Belmont. I just wish there were places closer to wheel.

Nothing special. Picture PeeWee Herman.

Well my last irrational decision was buying the 40 and then on top of paying Glenn too much money to fix it.

Glenn has always been reasonible with me. 4wheeling is expensive if you don't do the majority work yourself. If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen. I gave you an out several months ago to sell me that 40 but I really only like the 60 series

LOL.....

Everyone have a great Memorial Day Weekend...but amidst the burgers, beer, brats, and festivities...dont forget to thank a Vet for the opportunity to enjoy a weekend like this. Thanks.
