I've read through numerous threads, and read great debates, but found no concrete evidence.
If I have 3 35" tires with 16/32 tread, can I put on a new matching tire with 21/32 tread? Does anyone have evidence this will burn up the VC? I'd really rather buy 1 new tire, rather than 4...

Buy 1 new tire and take a belt sander to it...
Tools is right. Also rotate your spare in when you can...
