That seems like a pretty good price, just in time for lower gas prices too.

They have been back out for about 4 months or so. You can get them thru Cdan as he bought the bulk of them. I believe smart shopper price is just under 3 grand and then 20 cents more a gallon for life, but it sure is fun :D You should do it clint, dont worry, the truck will still look stock ;) but it may actually be considered fast on 31's

The guys at Toyota of Dallas are good folks, ive ordered lots from Chris and Barb for the taco, and she drives an 80 now unless its been sold recently.

Unfortunately because of the price, I think I would probably go with an OME medium setup with 305's plus an ARB front, winch, and IPOR rear.

But you never know... While on the subject, the premium doesn't concern me too much, but is there any improvement in MPG? That might help to rationalize the idea. But, I thought I've read that some see a decrease in MPG, but maybe it's the heavy foot from more power.

yeah , cant blame you there for outfitting the whole truck vs just the engine bay. MPG is not worse, not really better though either. I could see it getting better MPG w/ larger tires then a stock cruiser w/ same tires. 55mph on flat ground and i still average aroung 14mpg. Not saying i get that for a tank. When concrete and i drove 5 hrs to IPOR for skids we both averaged 12.5 for the whole trip at 5-10 over. Dont get me wrong, you can dump some gas in this thing, i cringe when i pull out of the drive and record 0.9 mpg on the guage. I got almost 12 going to cullowhee and back, stock gears and big heavy tires.

That's actually not too bad with 37's and stock gears. I watch my scangauge religiously and have similar mpg. Mine runs between 12-15 mpg commuting-highway with 31's. Something to consider, but I'm thinking hard about the 305's and an ARB. :-)
