Hello has anyone seen these sliders in person at SEMA? 2 questions
1 are they strong?? like slee can they be used as a jack point etc
2 what is the point of the curved part in the middle of the slider?? wouldn't that be bad to example get pinched by a tree or rock? why are they not straight across??

1.) No. Observe the mounting points at the top of the slider; see how small they are? No way is that strong.

2.) They are curved, because they are cool looking; I can't figure out any other reason. And yes, they would increase the liklihood that you would damage your truck if you were sliding off a vertical object like a tree.

Thats what lit looked like to me too.

wow thats what I was afraid of; I believe the 2016 running board is all one piece now so to actually get a slider on there will need to buy a trip piece also :(
