Travelling in South America any good places to look for parts in.....

Valparaiso, Chile
Rio, Brazil

I wont have alot of time to look around, but anyone now if there would be som good or hard to find parts in anyof the below listed places. I would have room to bring a few large (fender/engine) size pieces or a few boxes of hand caryy items

I'm in Lima, but i do a hell of a lot of importing for my build, in fact i don't even bother looking locally for parts anymore after very little success in general. There's very little here, much of what parts are here are trashed and so much of what is here is black market, so I recommend you enjoy Lima's restaurants and forget about parts from here. I would say Peru is one of the most landcruiserless latin countries from what I've seen.

Bolivia on the other hand has a ton of 70's.

Yeah down here in Lima right now only seen a few cruisers and some nice hilux's.

for example in 2010 there were only 43 HZJ75/78 legally registered in the entire country. There are gas 40, 60, 80, 100 and 200, but the post 1990 70's are rare and in general diesels of any model are even rarer.

Jefe in Colombia hoy can find 40, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100 120, 150 and 200 source parts.

70 series were manufactured here so it's really easy.
