Greg if you are doing the trans not on a lift and cant find a trans jack an ATV jack does the trick. I did the clutch in my 3/4 ton Dodge using one with no problem. Just make a couple wood cradle blocks and you are good to go.

I've got an adapter for a floor jack that I used to do the transmission on the 4Runner. It's yours if you wanna borrow it. Just gimme a call.

I'm the opposite I can't stand to DD an automatic. The last DD auto car I had was my mustang 12 years ago. In fact the auto was the reason I got rid of it.

Going solo here, anyone in the triangle that wants to lend a hand installing a tranny later today (indoors) give me a call on my mobile.

So just finished up everything, Ramon thanks a bunch for sticking it out last night, I finished up around 2am, and back in this morning to tie up some loose ends.

Jerry what happened to you-not like you to just bail on a project.

Ummm, I thought you were going to call me and to let me know if you were doing it here or at your shop. I went out and cleared space in the garage then started playing with the 45. By the time I saw your post, I was committed to activities at home, couldn't do it last evening.

Sorry, didn't mean to bail. I guess I'm a slacker on this one...
