What is the gearbox t/case code on the plate on the firewall, you can see the plate in the pic?
Find that out then look here for the part number
ToyoDIY.com

There is a wiring harness that sits on top of the gearbox and t/case,one wire is for reverse and the other wire is for 4wd,its on the transer case or the shifter. Have a feel around on top of the t/case

that is a great website, thanks. What would be the correct name for such an oil seal, because if i'm right there is a differents between the front and rear?

Once you find it in the diagram, you click on the part number next to it and it highlights the name and part number in the list on the right

how do you get to the diagrams and which is the T code:whoops::whoops: here are two wires that i found ,one on the transfer case (i think that is the one because he is connected with the lever housing), and the other on gear

Looks like some numpty has painted over the gearbox and other details with silver paint.
You go to "select your car" and fill in the details regarding market and year .When you get to a list major components, open up "powertrain and chassis"

Im not too sure about the wiring as mine is a different gearbox and T/case but you could try a test lamp and see whats live when you put it in reverse or 4wd

yes:bounce2:i found the parts at a local toyota dealer for a few euros, instead of one oil leak, there are 2,right next to eachother, the oil seal where the transfer switch chifter is connected also leaks,i got the parts but is it possible to change the seal from outside, i think i need to undo the shifter, anyone knows how to remove the lever from the bush(the parts image shows it in detail) in the front and how best to remove the oil seal ,thanks

You might be having difficulty finding some items however you should be able to locate your air filter box ( even in the dark :D)
Nice looking Cruiser by the way.
