Planning an LS swap into my 1995 HZJ75.

My original thought has been to stay with Toyota tranny and transfer case (putting in new). But wondering if there are GM options for better cruising speeds and fuel economy.

Keeping it manual transmission is a must.

Keeping the H55f in the stock location and using the Mark’s adapter will certainly be the least complicated install. That with 10% OD transfer case gear will net you similar performance to GM manual options with significantly less fabrication and complexity.
We’ve done a few into 60 series like that and can help with the parts and tech support.

Perfect, I do want to keep as much original bones as I can.
