I finally received my tranny gasket and filter today.
I have been getting low tranny fluid readings lately, actually for about 4 months since I ordered from man'a fre.
Well I got the filter out after major problems and noticed a substantial difference. The previous filter was about 1/2" is all , as the new one is about 1-2" in depth.
So if anyone is having misreadings on their tranny level, maybe you might wanna check this. Obviously the previous owner of my '88 didn't or did not put in the correct one.
