I was beat to the punch when it was FS in AU, but the buyer was down the road so I saw it after it was imported. It looked like the last owner in AU did a decent job on the body, but he did do a fair amount-front floors, rear sill, and some in rain gutters IIRC. Repaired with new steel. The pop-top is in better shape than mine and probably won't actually need replaced for a long time. IIRC it has power steer and some of the a/c bits. Price seems to be pretty steady--sold for $15k when first imported, then on CL for $13k, now, who knows?

I spoke with the original owner when it was still here in Oz. He was a young-ish Kiwi (30, from memory) who bought it from his Aunt or some similar family member. Th rig was living up in Queensland. He was a body worker and did the work himself with the intent of keeping it - said that he cut all rust out and replaced it with metal. However, the situation changed and he had to sell (he was trying to buy a house, and houses in Australia are amongst the most expensive in the world). He spoke very pasionately about the rig and about all the things he had done to it.

It was our intention to buy the rig, but someone beat us to it, sadly. I have not seen it in person.
