Trails in Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak area

We will be traveling Colorado Springs in August and wants to know any good scenic trails around the area. Last year we were in Durango and did almost all of the trails in Ouray. We are travelling from Houston and will be there for about 7-10 days. Any helpful information on good trails and scenic drives will be appreciated

Did recent fire destroyed any area in Colorado Springs?

I did China Wall just past Lake George a couple months ago. That was a FUN trail! There are lots of hard parts that have bypasses if you chicken out Lots of places to camp too. It's about an hour west of CO Springs.
I used to date a girl in Houston and when down there in Feb of this year and had a little fun at General Sam's off road park. Ever been there?
