That's sweet!
exactly what I need for my tires.....

Is this the one that we saw on the way to your house?

Yea Eric It's the same one. Turns out one of the ladies Christy works with, her boyfriend new this guy and told him Iwas interested in hauling off some of his yard art said he'd take $150.00 for it so I jumped on it. It's got a few issues but the frame, Axel, springs and other things just got surface rust and are solid. basically a good platform for a future project.

I think you got a great deal!

However, I think it is WAY too much trailer for a cruiser... unless you have dual super chargers and a 454 under the hood.

Sweet trailer, I think it will proove too much for trail use.

It's not an M101. These have 5-lug Budd wheels.

This trailer has 6-lug Budd wheels. So it's probably an M104 or M105 trailer. These are pretty much the same, but the M104 has a second tailgate in the front of the bed, while the M105 doesn't. The M104 uses 11.00x20 tires, while the M105 uses 9.00x20 tires, but these could easily be mixed up. (The M101 uses 9.00x16 tires.)

You can verify with a tape measure. The M101 is 147" long total, while the M104/105 is 165.5" long. For width, the M101 is 73.5" total, while the M104/M105 is 83" wide.

For weight, the M105 weighs 2400 lbs, the M105 weighs 2650 lbs, and the M101 weighs 1340 lbs.

Total gross weight of the M104 is 7900 lbs, the M105 is 7150 lbs, while the M101 is 3590 lbs.

M104 & M105 trailers are actually cheaper than the M101 trailers because they're so friggin' big and heavy. They were designed to be pulled by a 2.5 ton cargo truck. The M101 was designed to be pulled by a 3/4 ton truck, making it a lot more friendly for your typical "civilian" vehicle.

It must be a M104 then because it does have dual tailgates and 6 lug wheels.
Im not really thinking of it as an on the trail trailer, but more of a hauling gear and firewood to a campsite. my plans are to scale it down a bit to lighten it up a little. Probably goint to strip it down to the frame and use it as a platform to build the trailer Im thinking of. this project will be in the future I got to many things on my plate before I start messing with that build. I'll post up with updates and a ton of questions Im sure. Thanks to ya'll:beer:  .
