Anybody ever hooked up new trailer wiring on a FJ 62? I will also need to hook up a brake controller. Is it very hard any tricks.

Just get the wiring diagram, figure out how to combine the running/brake lights, make good spilces with adhesive shrink tubing (West Marine) and use a solid, good quaility connector. The combiner may or may not be needed on the 62, I don't remember.
