Putting a trip together for some easy trial ridings and camping around whiterock mountain arkansas. Three trucks so far. Leave out friday afternoon and camp at trial head. Run trails saturday and camp again. Come home Sunday.
We are in....if the weather holds. Not to dampen the fun, but the weather man is predicting a change in the weather at the end of next week; cold and maybe snow.

Very fun weekend with lots of exploring. It will take many trips to explore all the possibilities. Great camping weather. I love getting to use my cold gear. Waking up with ice covering the inside windows. Big fires and great food. Not a lot of tech climbs but good trail exploring and sights. Could get very difficult with a little rain.
Jim, the last morning was just running the bottom trail until we hit a 1/4 mile section that had been hit by what I would guess was a micro burst of wind. Huge trees uprooted. Took Marty and I 15 min to walk all the way around the mess and back on the trail. ATV's had mad a twisty path by one side but no way to get the trucks down it. It would take 4 guys with chainsaws half a day to clear a path. Back tracked half a mile and tuck a up trail that was nice enough a 2wd could have mad it out. Ended up over by 71 HWY and came back through fayetteville. Took 3 1/2 hours to get home that way.
The trail that we crossed the creek and started to camp at Saturday ends up at the bridge where we started Friday, at least according to my mapping software. It looked like it would need clearing also. Maybe a spring trip???
It took me right at 4hrs to my house coming back the way we came.
This was my 2nd trip with the OMC gang, had a great time and ready to go back. Camping was awsome and the trails were fun as well. I would like to take my atv down too. Thanks to Marty,Sissy and Thad for all there camping gear, it made the trip.
