Both batteries on my truck are dead. I have one on charge and i am going to try and see if i can jump the other one tomorrow to get it started. May need a tow down the street to get started.

I've been there too. had to get my 45 pull started by a co-workers old cherokee once.
alright...so who's the one who helped the old man break his junk? lol. by the sounds of it im thinking either stripped splines on the birf/axle or he took a few teeth out on the r&p....not sure, either way, i think there may have been previous damage to whatever broke and today was just kind of the straw that broke the camels back....ill have to post pics when i find time to take things apart and have a look....

The worst thing is we stopped by the sooke gate on the way back and it was unlocked and open.

Ya pics please. I had to work, 1.5 hours of logging road each way I'd rather have been out beatin on the cruiser!
I saw you at Live To Surf! You drove by a few times, I was eating a late breakfast at the Wildside grill. I wish I had seen your post earlier, we coulda caught some waves together! How long were you there? I just got home today. What beach were you surfing at? (sorry for the hijack)
