I hope to be there. Saturdays are my day to babysit, and wheeling is a good babysitter..

I will be working.:crybaby:

Have fun.

I'll think of you while I'm trying to fit the whale down the 1/2 size trails....

Nope.

I'll hang till I can't drive around the obstacles any more then I'll probably just head home. I know the upper portion is more than I can do, but I'm hoping I can do at least as much as a stocker on 33's for the bottom portion.

I'll listen to your advice if you think I shouldn't come along. I've got plenty of other things that are just as important to get done.

As I mentioned above the trail is short, when we get to the actual canyon you can judge for your self if you want to give it a try or loop back out and join us on the pole line road.
I'd guess the technical section is less than a half mile long.

We'll go in by the petroglyphs, they are worth the ride even if none of us do the canyon.

Went past the petroglyphs and then up to the entrance of the canyon. Had to stack a truckload of rocks into a little waterfall since somebody dug some huge holes in there.

Once we got past that, the 80's decided they didn't want to try the canyon. The 40's were time limited, so I decided to go back with the 80's and link back up on the powerline road after the 40's completed the canyon.

I didn't suffer any carnage, however there was one bent slider from the first 80 doing the waterfall.

No pics, have some video, but nothing of the rigs. Was too busy stacking rocks and trying not to step into knee deep swamp mud to get pics or vid.

I'd like to go back once I get my sliders finished and my new rear locker installed and try the canyon.

As it turns out the bail out road is pretty torn up now too. I think the buggy guys take that way in to run upper Bronco. But most of it is just erosion from all the trucks over the years following the wash up and out.

It would have been after dark getting the 80's and Will through the canyon and out. As it was it took Mark and I a lot longer than I anticipated to get back to the pole line road. We didn't make it back to pavement until around 4:00 IIRC.

The pole line road is pretty rutted and the road back over to Lousetown Creek was torn up pretty bad. Could have something to do with the VORRA race they ran Saturday. Both roads were on the race route.

MAAAAN...I cant wait to wheel again!:crybaby:

Wheeling is fun.

Maybe we need a rent-a-rig for the peeps on here who are always wrenching..

I offered to let Chicago ride with me but he wanted to stay home and putter around in the garden.

Great trip. Here's some shots from the trip. Speaking of bent sliders, it is my R Metaltech slider is about 1/4-1/2" closer to the catalytic converter so I'm getting a pretty significant rattle. Any thoughts on a shop to bend it back?

I would call MetalTeck and see what they say. Be ready to send them some pictures, most likely he will send you a new one.

Thanks for the pics.

Jack

If you were closer, I'd fix it for you. If they will send you a new one, we should run it the other way next time....You could have two new ones.

enjoyed the day, and meeting some new people... the petroglyphs were great, going to take the kids to see them.... the rock garden will have to wait till the 40 is done....

larry.....on the bent slider, come down for the club bbq and stop by we should be able to bend it back.....but it will cost you some beer.....
