Bitter sweet day. Traded my well loved and well used GX460 for a 1958 Edition Land Cruiser. The GX was one of the most comfortable and best vehicles I’ve ever owned. At 266,000 on the clock, it was time to let it go. I have no doubt it would go 300k plus.

The LC drives more like a truck and sits much higher. I only drove the LC with stock 245 70 18s for one day and was getting 24 mpg. The BFG KO3s 275 70 18 dropped it down to 20 mpg. I was getting between 18-20 with KO2s on the GX. The soft ride of the GX and the Mark Levinson stereo in the GX are much better than the LC.

Is it possible to recalibrate the speedo (which affects the displayed MPG) with your new tires on the new LC's?
Or did you have to go old school and measure mileage/gallons of gas at the gas pump.

The display is fairly accurate. I divided the gallons and miles and it was within a half gallon. I might have topped off the tank a little more on the second fill up.
