Hi Guys,

I have been working in Taiwan for the past month and finally got a day off. Here are some Toyota's we don't get at home, and a couple of local Taiwan trucks.

Here is a Toyota Z Ace PU. These are 2wd, I'm not sure what motor they have but it is not a 22r it's 1.6L. I like it, but then again I drive a rusted out 88 long bed.

Here is a Z Ace. This is also 2wd and the inside is the same as my 88pu. The motor is 1.9L.

Here is a Surf also 2wd, I've also seen these called Z Ace Surf. I'm not sure what they have for a motor. I'm not sure but I think Z Ace is 2wd and High Ace is 4wd.

CMC China Motor Co. This thing is about 5' tall at the box. They use these for everything.

Thanks, it's interesting to see what models are out there elsewhere in the world. A true Toyota buff to take pics for us and post them up

thanks for sharing dude.

Thanks for the pics. What kind of job is that? 1 day off in 1 month?

I’m doing research in semiconductors. We came up with a tool that will eliminate several steps in the manufacturing process. It’s a joint project with one of the foundries here in Taiwan. The problem is this factory is running 24/7 and we can only use the equipment during the “holes” when product is not being run. That means we might get 30min here and 60min there to run the equipment, when we get a hole we have to scramble to get on the equipment and start collecting data and making process adjustments. It’s actually a lot more exciting than it sounds.
