Toyota Vehicle Identification Cards

Has anyone seen one of these Toyota ID cards?

Here is a pic of mine below that came with my '72. It's embossed like a credit card. Can't find much info about them online and I can't say I've seen another one. What years did Toyota issue these?

Yep seen them before. I had a card from Remington for the model 29 shotgun my uncle bought in 1929 that said they would fix it for free forever as long as you had the card. Had the box and hanging tags too. Before dad left for WWII he poured motor oil in all the guns actions and barrels. When I inherited it in the late 80's, it was so stiff as to be almost unfunctional. I made the 9 different pin punches to take it completely apart. Used the heated ultra sonic cleaner and lots of time with a dental pick to make it like new. I gave it to my nephew.

We still have ours with the all the other paperwork and window sticker. For some reason, that dealer used that embossing tape in for some reason, vs the card being directly embossed. Strange.
