Are we required to submit an club article to TT???

I am thinking we write a NE section and Central section. I can stop by MVM house and we can knock out the Central.

Any volunteers for NE section?

Onur emailed me last week about this very topic and he likes to write. So Onur, give me or Karl a shoutout if you need some content.

Todd already has our logo for print and I'm working on the Tshirts/Stickers/Vehicle Flags.

Just talked with Todd on Friday and got the skinny on article submission.

We hvae one of two choices:

1. A small article that introduces our club to the TT readers (300-500 words + logo)

2. A longer (1500-2000 word + 10-15 color photos) club spotlight article that really concentrates on the club.

Since we really hvaen't had many club meetings/runs etc. recently, I told Todd that we would do a shorter one for the next TT that we can make the deadline for it (11/15/06) and shoot for a longer article when we've had some gatherings, activities, etc.

I know that we have had a bunch of tech. gatherings and I was (am) planning on developing sort of a short history of how we've re-organized and some of the people involved.

I guess what I need most is some background on MOLC and where that left off. That way I have the right context through which to present the current re-organization spearheaded by MVM.

How does that sound Karl/MVM? We can either do this via email or phone--either way is fine with me....

And Karl, if you want to write the first intro, article for TT, feel free to do so...you are, after all, the Prez....



Let me know how you want to proceed. I was planning on penning something up in the next few weeks, sending it off to you all to get suggestions/edits, and then writing up a final to submit to TJK.

Article submitted today.

Sans pics of logo Karl. Sorry. It was too big for a small article. We can use them again when we do a longer, feature article next time around.
