l have an OEM Toyota snorkel for LC70 series, l think some bits and pieces are missing, the installation manual is missing. Can anybody be so kind to post the manual. Or anybody documented the actual installation, it would be of great help.

l also need to see what's in between the fender and the engine wall that connects the air filter duct to the snorkel.

Thanks so much

Hello,

Not exactly an installation manual but it might be useful. You will need to drill a rectangular hole on the fender and a different air filter box.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, very useful indeed, but when you said "you need.........& a different air filter box", do you mean we'll have to use a new air filter box.

Can you possibly lead me to website, though l doubt there is any.

Thanks so much Sir JuanJ

The snorkel airbox has the air intake bit pointed in the center of the fender to line up with the snorkel on the out side.
The non snorkel air box has the air intake bit pointed up behind the headlight area.

Yes, l can picture what you mean Sir Clint. So we just rotate the original filter box or actually install a whole different box?

Thanks so much, help is just pouring in, please keep them coming guys.

mounting points will be in the wrong spots if you rotate your air box around and the air entry pipe is a different bend.
You can always block your one off and weld a bit of 2.5" ish sized tube in the side of you air box to line up with the snorkel.
Start from the snorkel first and work your way to the air box

No worrys,
A few of the ls2 powered cruisers in Aus the owners are welding a 3" or 4" pipe in the side of the air box to join for a custom pipe snorkel on the out side of the fender.
