I bought the lc300 from 09/2022 until now, it's been more than 2 years. However, Toyota still hasn't released a fix for the gearbox. My car shifts jerkily from 1st to 4th and downshifts from 4th to 3rd. Is Toyota ignoring the lc300 and no longer cares about it?

My lx600 does the same thing and I got use to it. Its annoying though. What a screw up on their part.

I may try some tuning. They reset the learn and it helped some but came back.

We should probably start a poll and send it to Toyota/Lexus corporate.

I have little tuner dude in rural NC that tunes my gas Ford trucks and the bulk of that work is the transmission tuning. Night and day difference. So it can be done.

But this LX/LC transmission tuning is downright brutal, trash compared to even a fleet no option gas F250. At least mine is.

It even has delayed downshift when doing “california roll” type of stop and go driving.
