Petrol LC300 has no external fuel filter?

Petrol LC300 has no external fuel filter? I was trying to buy a petrol filter from the parts diagram for my petrol JDM ZX LC300 but apparently ONLY the diesel version has an external replaceable filter.

From the diagram, it looks like to replace the petrol filter, I have to replace the entire fuel pump assembly.

Can anyone confirm?

Those are all part numbers.

Also most gas cars just have a sock at the pickup.

Looks like it's the same for the LX600 petrol too. A sock inside the fuel pump assembly.

I believe you're correct. There only appears to be the in tank filter.

Most gas cars don’t have them anymore… last one I had with a fuel filter was a 97 maxima.
