Is there a way/site where I can enter my my VIN # and get some type of printout showing precise specs for my rig when it was originally sold? Eg. gear ratios, axle type, etc. ??

I don't know of one that will give you real specifics like what options it came with, but you can search by your vin for parts here: ToyoDIY.com

Copy that. I checked it out and may be helpful to confirm parts #'s etc. I really got a kick out of those Toyota prices!! Holy crap! 3FE engine for about 14K, over a thousand for a torque converter etc. No wonder MUD is such a popular place for us Toyota offroaders to "share info" on how to keep our rigs on the road for lesser amounts. BTW I was cleaning the garage and found some items I will bring to the meeting if someone can use. eg- oil filter, original toyota tool kit from my '86 pu, stuff like that. Hope someone can use.
