What is for sale:
This was originally an 83 toyota 4x4 long bed.
Now it is an 83 toyota cab, front clip, and frame reinforced. Front and rear axles have been moved forward. It has a rear mounted radiator out of an f250 and an electric fan. It also has a polished aluminum dual battery box currently only housing one battery, and the other space is for tools/storage. There is also a polished aluminum 10 gal fuel cell. Hi Lift Jack mounted on the back along with 2" receivers front and back for tow hooks.
Interior:
Tachometer, fuel level gage, Temp gage and oil pressure gage. Push button starter, with 4 airplane style safety toggles controlling ignition, fan, and 2 extra for lights or winch. Quick release steering wheel. 2004 ford ranger seats. Tach and fuel gauge not hooked up but installed. also have a CB thats not installed but could be included for the right price.
The engine:
is a 350 chevy with shorty headers, 2" y pipes to a single 3" muffler/pipe. High and tight and outta sight. Very good breather but still a little quiet. The engine is stock along with the carberator. Also there is a brand new starter, plugs, rotor.
The Transmission/t-case:
The trans is a Turbo 350 with a lokar flexible dipstick. Married to the indestructable NP205. it also has 1/2 ton drive shafts that have gave me no problems.
The axles:
The front is a dana 44 with 8 lugs, and the rear is a dana 60 with welded diff, and nice bash guard. Both axles have disk brakes, and an abundance of braided flexible brake line. The rear disk setup was a swap that uses the Cadillac Eldorado calipers so you can set up an e-brake. These parts along with one front caliper is brand new. I have not hooked up the e-brake yet. I also did a master cylinder upgrade to a v6 toyota MC. The brakes are firm, and stop on a dime.
The Suspension:
The shocks are rancho with 16" of travel, and the coil springs are from a jeep 8" lift for the xj. This gives the truck a full 16" of travel front and rear. The front is a 4 link setup, and pan hard. The rear is a triangulated 3 link. Everything fits nicely and works smoothly.
Steering:
This is a full hydraulic steering setup w/ single ended ram, and a quick release steering wheel. 3.5 turns lock to lock.
Rims/Tires:
On the truck is 4 H1 dual beadlocks with brand new 36" Wrangler Military oz tires. There also are new usa 6x6 center plates to fix the offset issues. I also have a matching spare 36" wrangler military tire with 90%+ tread on 8 lug steel wheel. if you so happen to slice a tire deep in the woods but don't want your day to end.
This truck has been a labor of love made over the last 2 years and finished early 2006. I have spent around $8000 and many man hours to get her where she is today. It runs great with no problems.
$5,000/obo Or willing to entertain partial trades. Motorcycle, Trucks, cars, boats, etc. plus $$$$.
Any questions Call 218-825-9384 Thanks for your time.
