Ok, here's what it is...it's got the D4D variable turbo (3.0) from the Prado and so is it's running gear, so it's a locable full time 4 wheel drive system (kinda like an alltrack with center diff) but with a low gear (lever activated).
I think it comes with a rear limited slip, cuz I've taken this places and it manages to keep going where, Isuzu Troopers/Bighorn, Pajeros, Ford Rangers have called it quits...and this thing just keeps on luggin. (all these with all terrain tires).
On the road it runs like a deer...FAST. I've taken it up to 140 Kph and it still wants more.
Oh and its coil sprung in the rear (unlike the hilux) and has struts in the front.
