I have been having a hard time finding a good FJ60- hopefully you guys can help me out. I don’t have time to work on a full project but looking for a good deal, good car, engine etc. Any ideas please let me know. Automatic or preferably 5 gears manual.

Yes I know- it’s a tough wish list dream of...the 5 speed is rare I know but the rest should be realistic.... but all is about budget!! Im looking up to 20/22K.

Hey, by any chance are you still looking for a cruiser? I'm in the process of trying to sell my '83 FJ60. It doesn't have a 5 speed manual (it has the 4 speed), but its a solid running rig. It has 190,000 miles on the clock. I have invested close to $8k over the past seven months getting it restored mechanically. I'm currently asking $18,500 OBO. The truck has a two inch lift, and has bed liner applied around the bottom quarter or so of the body.

Any rust? How much are you looking for?

Good Morning, it's been stored inside so, rust is minimal. Any haze gets addressed immediately. It has been a daily driver, so, it is mechanically very reliable.

1. I'm in Canada (BC) and
2. It is a Diesel (turbo and intercooled)

It will be going up for sale soon when i get info organized and take some better pictures.

235k miles, but well maintained, have records. Daily driver for years, but now it sits. H55 trans bought new from Toyota. Dual batteries, ARB / 8274 front bumper, Kaymar rear bumper. Body is very straight, faded paint, but no rust! Needs tires, burns oil, runs strong otherwise. Have a 12HT too, but this needs reassembly. Anyway...
