Toyota Bj73 Land Cruiser 250 VM 5 Cylinder

Hola. Soy de España y estoy actualizando un VM de 5 cilindros turbodiésel.
Me preocupa que un día no pueda encontrar las piezas necesarias para reparar este motor.
No he podido encontrar el termostato del refrigerante, por lo que he tenido que modificar la tapa e instalar un termostato diferente que abre a 82°C.
Me pregunto si los taqués hidráulicos alguna vez fallan, dónde puedo conseguirlos, o incluso algunos balancines de válvulas o piezas de la unidad de control del motor.
¿Tienes el libro de referencia de este motor VM66A?

I remember reading that some parts are available, and some parts are not. A member from Portugal managed to find the parts he needed in order to keep his engine going.

As mentioned above, the Search Function is your friend.

Check the Resources section for engine manuals.

If long term use is a concern, you may want to look for options such as a 1HZ or a 1GD engine.

Los motores VM no son muy apreciados...

Lo sé, pero sigue siendo historia del automóvil.
Tienen buenos bajos y son ágiles con su turbo.

Hola amigo. Aqui tienes el manual para el VM motor. Tengo mas info si lo necesitas ... manuales de carroceria, etc.

Tbn tengo un Bj73, pero mi motor VM se murio. Ahora actualmente estoy instalando motor 1KZ-T
