toy thirds?

hey guys i talked to georg ,he has a disc brake axle for me ...but i does nt have the third? anyone know where i can get one....

I have two of them. One is welded and one is open.

I think he is looking for a landcruiser third. Try D'animal he might have one laying around. Also are you looking for a course or fine spline. FIne spline are better but you will pay a little more for it.

Use the third that you already have in your axle. Should be the same.

The ones I have are course spline (1974)

well its a later housing? will my early third work mine is a '66 right now.i think the one goerg has is like a 75?

1976 is when they began to come with Disc brakes.

1978 is then they started to come with the fine spline pinions.

The third member should be the same. I'll have to ask Mace or Poser.

You will have to drill out the stud holes, and IIRC you have to replace the side gears (coarse vs fine spline)

But the third will work fine.

And, it is a good reason to replace the innards with a locker
