Towing with the 8 speed transmission question

Thanks for the response. What do you think the smell was? Is that normal?

It would be a shot in the dark and could be anything. I wouldn't sweat it though. It's not unexpected when the rig get heat soaked, and reminds me of my track days. Everything gets hot hot hot. It could be some debris, asphalt, fluid, grease, whether leftover from service or picked up on the road. Like an oven in self clean mode, it could be just burning off some leftovers. Not sure if you have any mods, but as a stock vehicle, the cruiser is as validated as any, and it would be just about impossible to push it beyond its design envelop in towing and hauling within it's spec capacities on a cooler day.

Keep a nose on it though. If it re-occurs or happens often, would be worthwhile to follow-up on.

Thanks @TeCKis300 and @JS22STL ! I'll keep a nose on it; but its good to hear that the vehicle is more than capable. It's a 2016 and I have no idea what the PO did with it. So hopefully the dealership can clear up any hidden surprises on Wednesday.

Ah ok I see what you guys did. Two gauges, one overlaid on the other. I changed mine to light up green, and adjusted the ranges to match what I looked up in my earlier post.

Here's the dropbox link to my dashboard. You can save it to your dropbox or icloud account and then load it into your OBD Fusion

Were people able to save and import @linuxgod dashboard here?

I have saved the .stg file to my personal Dropbox under new folders I created: OBD Fusion > Import. Then I linked my personal dropbox in the app, and I have the "Sync CSV Log Files" toggled on under Settings>Preferences>Dropbox/iCloud. Then I go to Settings>Menu>Import Settings and select Dropbox, then click Settings to go back, and I get an Import Failed message: "No files were found to import. You must place the settings file in the OBD Fusion/Import Directory in your Dropbox folder". Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Yes, I’ve downloaded a couple that have been shared on a different thread dedicated to the OBD Fusion. I don’t recall the steps off the top of my head and if I wasn’t done on the porcelain throne I’d try and find it.
