Tow Hooks

I was interested in knowing if the FJ came with Tow Hooks? If so, where are they located. I am thinking about a gift for my father for Christmas, but wanted to make sure that there are tow hooks on the FJ before I buy it.

2 in front.
1 in rear

The FJC has three built-in tow hooks. Two on the front attached to each side of the frame underneath the bumper. One rear tow hook attached to the frame opposite the exhaust.

Just for clarification...I haven't seen a hook in the rear, but the two in the front are actually "loops". Just in case that makes a difference in your gift.

Thanks for the info. So, there are two loops in the front and a hook in the rear. It makes a difference. I was thinking of getting him a tow strap.

A snatch strap will work, but also get a shackle (D ring) to attach the loop through.
The rear one is on the drivers side.

You can also get one for the hitch receiver if you have one.
