They lost their lease or something. There was a sign post on their door last week.

Any news when and where they will re-open?

They had a "moving" party about two weeks ago. The owner of the building wanted to raise the rent and with the downturn in business, they just decided to move out of the building. They put everything into storage and I think he is going to keep things going with internet type sales until he can find a different place.

That has gotta be a REALLY TOUGH BUSINESS to survive in. Additionally, they were pretty damn expensive too, IMO. When looking to get my locker installed, they were the highest of the 3 places I checked.

I personally think its a good riddance. Those guys really screwed over a buddy of mine, while working on his Samurai. They did some really low quality work.

I made an appointment to have my tires swapped on some internal bead lock wheels, showed up, the guy told me he was over booked and asked me to come back the next day. I show up the next day and he then tells me they can't do it. Thanks for wasting my time.

Shaffer's Offroad did them the same day while I waited.

How do you like those beadlocks?
I was considering those in the future. They seem pretty bullet proof, but Im a bit concerned about tire balance with them.
Not that it would be all that different with an external system...

They do effect the balance some but I've got Nitto Terra Grapplers on them currently and they balanced out and I don't have any shaking up to 80 or so (altho it req'd a decent amount of weight).

Overall I like them. I think there has been at least a few times where they've kept me from de-beading or puncturing a sidewall.

Are you using the Stuans or the Innerair?
