Snap on, Matco, or Mac. If you're on a budget, get a CDI. CDI makes torque wrenches for Snap on.
Stay away from Sears Crapsman torque wrenches. Biggest POS.

Kinda funny... I have 3 Craftsman torque wrenches, a Snap-On, and a big Mac Tools one. I had an opportunity to have them all calibrated a few years ago, so I had them done. The Craftsman ones were the only ones that were still close to correct, the Mac was way off. He couldn't even get it consistently close, I have to use a correction table that he made for me.

No matter what brand you buy, have it checked.

BTW, Craftsman torque wrenches are NOT guaranteed for life.

I bought an old used Craftsman for $25 that had been used in a shop that repairs forklifts. All metal, no plastic. Took in in for calibration for probably the first time in 20 years and it was spot on.

I don't know about the new stuff, but the old Craftsman are the bomb.
