Whoa put the Gun down! :)

I mistook you for a military friend I had a while back...we picked up a crashed c-17 together on Elmendorf and he had a white 60 like yours and had Mark do some work for him.

I read through your build thread, beautiful work! There is no better satisfaction than building your own rig. I picked up a welder about 5 years ago and it is quite the addiction!

I am with you on the mild winters. I love AK but am realizing in order to stay sane, you MUST escape the state several times a year or atleast most the winter if you can manage that.

No guns here...just on my arms sir. No worries mate. Andys rig in seward is sweet. you should take a look at it and offer 10,000.

:) You know there is that crowd who buys their stuff and their is the very few who fabricate and I hate it when I assume you were part of the larger crowd, no offense I hope!

I appreciate the heads up on the Seward rig. Here is the catch, I am doing this all sight unseen as I am over in Iraq presently for my job. The 5.3 swapped rig is very sweet, but it does have some of the infamous wheel well rust but I am hoping that is the extent of it. I had similar stuff on my 62 I picked up in Anchorage and burned in new sheet metal but it was my first time with bondo and well...its rather embarrasing but nothing bed liner did not fix!

Andys rig in seward is very clean....no rust and original engine with 90,000 on the clock.

No offense taken. And thank you for protecting my freedom while you are overseas too.
