Just watched all of it....LMAO again and again.
funny ending w/ the toy though.

apparently Mark is doing a large article for a magazine on his experiences....but read somewhere that the Toyota was actually the workhorse and they might have had to do more work on Rover than shown to keep it running even having a spare parts truck.....LOL

I thought it was pretty good...

That road was not any more dangerous by itself than going across BLACK BEAR PASS or IMOGENE with the tires on edge of road and mirror scraping opposite granite wall....we even had a couple vehicles going the WRONG WAY to contend with but no full size delivery trucks. LOL

Now from a violence, traffic and trail width perspective it reminded me of the road between Tuzla and Sarajevo.....1.5 cars wide at best....two way traffic with mines hidden in every puddle on road or under snow....locals that drive 70mph and more than a few vehicles were forced off the side and ended in death...even for American military. Passing on blind curves and going through tunnels without headlights is common....LOL

I loved how the Toyota stops........Sorry....oops,Sorry

Great episode. Love this show went to a screening when I was living over in London.

I am sure they did that on purpose with the Yota for television. He would have died with just FWD.

Great video, was freaking hilarious!

Mark H said that they actually hauled another whole parts Rover on a flat bed to keep that red thing running for Clarkson. He also said they knew absolutely nothing about wheeling, recovery or winching and one of them(Mark or LT) actually waded through the river to hook up that Suzuki that nose dived into the water. Just proves that the show is more about entertaining TV. Still love the show, one of my favs, but a lot goes on behind the scenes than we know.

Strange I would've thought that hammond knew a little bit as he has quite a built up defender at home.

I was surprised to hear that too, and I'm sure Metal Tech doesn't want to bash them too badly. However, owning a built vehicle does not bestow knowledge upon the driver. :hillbilly:

ssssh I'm trying to fit in here and pretend I know anything :grinpimp:
