To the OP, there really are some better examples out there, if you are patient and willing to travel. It's not about being a "rust snob," but rather just being practical. While not easy to find, they are not rare. The upside to travel is the chance to drive one home and get familiar...

there is rust -as in minor surface rust that comes off with a swipe or a spray- and then there is Rust -as in the metal is rotted through-... Not the same thing...
